Phobia Projects
A number of my artworks based on various fears
STRATEGIES
Much of my artworks had been made taking photos from numerous body parts and tools from my home in order to better improve these phobia based artworks. An example of which is the mannequin I had used from my room to demonstrate the fear of puppets and human-like figures.
PURPOSE / REASONING
My love of researching various fears and discovering many unique phobias always gave me the idea to give visual representation based on the fear behind them and a few more idealizations for those without those fears.
COLOR / BACKGROUND
Much of the background is filled with color and gradients that directly focus on the object which represent the different kinds of fears such as spiders, dolls and drowning. Although much better background could be made much of this experience has helped me practice a lot as type of lighting I could for backgrounds
Personal Work
A number of my artworks are as well created from requests and as gifts
(STRATEGIES)
Much of the time I tend to have references to work with but whenever creating characters I have to start from scratch depending on the animal while depending on the kind of animal is, I primarily focus on the ear shapes, facial structure, and patterns around its body before designing.
(PURPOSE / REASONING)
I have numerous reasons for the way I create my art like this but primary over the last year I've been trying to focus a lot on improving my line work and make it more unique and from the time I've created a lot of art for reasons such as requests, gifts and just for fun
(COLOR / BACKGROUND)
For gifts and requests I use color to complement the background and linework well. I tend to add a little color to the background just to add give my art more appealing visuals. For some I can even give environmental backgrounds such as oceanic or arial types of enviroments.
